Printing your wedding photos

The image below is of my beloved late Grandma, sharing her wedding album with us on her 60th wedding anniversary. The album was made from two, maybe three rolls of film. Each photo was carefully chosen to take pride of place in this little book. We cousins poured over the photos, held in our Grandma’s hands. It’s for experiences like this that we should print our photographs.

Wedding photo thank you cards

When you book me for your wedding or civil partnership I promise to deliver a preview of images 48 hours afterwards, giving you a selection of highlights from different moments of your day. These photos can be downloaded, shared, and printed while you wait for your full gallery to be delivered. You’ll receive your preview images in an online gallery, and from here you can choose to order personalised thank-you cards to send out to your guests. My Pictime store makes it easy for you to design and order your cards, and saves you the trouble of re-uploading your photos elsewhere, and guarantees you’ll receive high-quality prints.

Printing your wedding photos

Once your full set of wedding photographs has been edited, you’ll receive another link to an online gallery. There is no additional cost for digital copies, which means anyone with the link can choose web-quality or highest-quality downloads. Above your gallery you’ll see a button leading you to the shop, where you can choose from a range of different print options. For longer wedding days, I tend to separate the day into sections so that you can flick through your morning preparations, the ceremony and the party. This helps you narrow down your favourite images for sharing and printing. Pictime makes it easy for you to create lists within your gallery of favourite images, using a ♥ button to select the photographs you’d like to print, while keeping your full gallery intact. This saves you from downloading and organising your photographs yourself for printing purposes, but do remember to download your images and store them in a safe place. Once you’ve chosen your photos for printing, select from prints, matted prints, and deckled prints. You can explore different paper qualities, sizes and borders to find the right design choice for you. Your prints are delivered straight to you, with a quick turnaround time of roughly 7 business days + shipping time.

Designing your wedding photo album

Your wedding gallery will typically include between 300 and 600 images, so most couples allow themselves some time to take them all in before selecting their favourite images for a wedding album. The process for ordering a wedding album is similar to choosing other printed products, but if you require some support with your design then I’m here to help you. There is a range of different album sizes, covers and styles to choose from, as well as different finishes, including paper weight and embossing. You can browse through my brochure of wedding albums at any stage, to start thinking about the design choices which might best suit you. There is also the option of ordering additional ‘parent’ albums, as a keepsake for family members or close friends.
