100 Barrington Wedding

As lockdown eased in July 2021, Phoebe and Neil flew over from the Philippines to celebrate with their friends and family, many of whom they hadn’t seen in over a year. Their 10-day quarantine on the return journey was made well worth it by their loved ones, who stepped up and brought an unmatchable energy to the day. 100 Barrington is a gorgeous South London venue, and I loved being the wedding photographer for this very special day in the middle of Brixton. Read on for a surprise from the bride.

Brixton wedding venue

Pheobe and Neil’s ceremony was held outside at 100 Barrington Brixton, a newly renovated space which had only very recently reopened. Described as an oasis within the bustle of Brixton, and easily accessible from Central London, it was the perfect spot for personal vows and a group sing-a-long. The railway arches make for some really interesting angles, and the space has been really carefully designed to allow for versatility and to make the most of the building’s character. The brickwork is beautiful as are the leafy plants and the statement chandelier. Canapes were provided by Sabel (who are excellent), and guests mingled in the outside courtyard before heading inside for toasts and a stunning three course family-style meal, again provided by Sabel. A surprise

The party was kicked off with Phoebe performing a rendition of ‘Flying without wings’, in a pair of glorious silver wings. Neil’s face was a picture. The dancefloor at 100 Barrington features a stunning disco-ball and I loved how easily the space shifted from hosting a family-style meal to hosting a packed out dancefloor.
